We will be participating in Sunset Valley’s first ever Read-A-Thon from March 20th - March 31st!  We are very excited for this fundraiser as it encourages and develops a love of reading.

Click here sign your child up online.  The website is dynamic and you will be able to easily see how your child is doing, all through your child’s unique online login.  Reading times are split in to 10 sessions.  We encourage the following session times:

Kindergarten & 1st graders = 10 minute sessions
2nd graders = 20 minute sessions
3rd & 4th = 30 minute sessions

Please work with your child to log these sessions to reach their 10-session goal.  They will enjoy seeing their progress and will get prizes based on the donations that they receive!  We will also be doing some sessions in school whereby you child’s teacher will log his/her session.

Donations will be placed online and you can email your child’s donation page link to friends and family so that they can contribute to his/her success!  You can even share through social media to encourage more awareness and excitement about this fundraiser!

Have fun with your child and this fundraiser!  And should you have any additional questions, please email Heather Lepore at readathon@svepta.com

We are so LUCKY to have such great bus drivers at Sunset Valley!

On Thursday, March 16th we will be showing our appreciation for our Sunset Valley Bus Drivers with our annual Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast.  The breakfast will take place in the LGI Room from 8:45 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.

This year we will be treating them to a catered breakfast.  We will need a few volunteers to help set-up, serve food and clean-up.

Click here to sign up to help out at the Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast. Use password PTA to enter the site.

Thank you all for your help!

March 31st from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to help with the Fun Fair.  Help will be needed to decorate & set-up during the school days between March 27-March 31.  Day time volunteers must have their volunteer badge.

Volunteers are also needed to help during the Fun Fair.  Older siblings (5th grade and older) are encouraged to volunteer.  5th/6th grade students must work with an adult.  Students in 7th grade & older can work independently.
